Does the library have textbooks?

Per policy, the library does not actively collect textbooks. Exceptions are made for textbooks that are seminal works in a discipline, or that provide the best introduction to a topic where few resources have been published. Instructors may choose to place reading copies on reserve in the library. These materials may be checked out and used for a limited time (determined by the instructor) within the library only.
